DOOKABAAM Returns & Exchanges Policy

We hope you and your little hero love the piece you’ve chosen, and that it will be worn, loved, and cherished for years to come.

However, we understand that shopping online for kids can sometimes be tricky. For that reason, we happily accept returns and exchange requests on eligible orders.

Because DOOKABAAM pieces are preorder only and limited edition, exchanges may not always be possible. If the size or style you’re hoping to swap into isn’t available, we’ll instead issue you a store credit to use toward a future piece.

Please note:

  • Refunds for change of mind are not possible.
  • Returns or exchange requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • Return postage is at the customer’s expense (unless the item is faulty).
  • Certain categories such as underwear, swimwear (if introduced) and digital items (e.g. gift cards) cannot be returned.
  • All items must be in their original, unworn, unwashed condition, with swing tags attached and repackaged carefully in the original protective packaging. Items showing signs of wear or damage cannot be accepted and will be returned at your cost.
  • Digital items such as gift cards are also non-returnable.

 

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item is deemed faulty, damaged, or not as described, we will always honour a full refund, replacement, or repair in line with your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Please contact us immediately at info@dookabaam.com with your order number and clear photos, and we’ll resolve it quickly.

Conditions of Return

  • Items must be in their original, unworn, unwashed condition with all swing tags attached.
  • We cannot accept returns for items showing signs of wear, washing, or damage. Such items will be returned to you at your own expense.

How to Make a Return or Exchange

  1. Submit your request through our [Returns Portal] within 7 days of delivery.
  2. Once approved, you’ll receive instructions (and a return postage label if eligible).
  3. Repackage your item securely in its original box and affix the return label.
  4. Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you by email.
  • If the requested exchange is possible, we’ll ship it out.
  • If not, we’ll issue you a store credit to use toward a future piece.

Refunds for faulty items will be applied to your original payment method, and credits will be delivered via email. Please allow up to 5 business days for processing after we receive your return.
